Never Mind

Yep the sleeping was due to two teeth!! Coop's two bottom teeth have pierced through, it's not the whole tooth but the sharp edges are up. YIkes, he is really miserable.

Teething experience??

Hey everybody, does teething make babies sleep longer than normal? Cooper is really hard to get down for a nap but when he goes down, he won't wake up for like 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Have any of your kids gone through this? I was just a little worried. Emily

Fun Date!!

We had a blast with you guys today!! This picture was about the best one I got of all the kiddos. It's hilarious. The pic is priceless, from left Levi playing the harmonica or the flute, or maybe it's just a toy, Brewer daydreaming (of something besides taking pictures) Cooper, kicking Owen in the head, Owen checking out his hands and totally unaware of the blow to the head, Delaney laughing her head off (what a photogenic child), and then Liam and Etta are in their own little world having a stare down and trying to escape the photo session. AAHH playdates, what would we do without all of this fun in our lives?? Love Em and Coop

The R Word

I enjoy playing puzzle games on the internet - it helps  me decompress.  Anyway, I noticed a new game they posted called "Interactive Retards."  URGH, it pains me to even type the word.  Anyway, I sent them a very short note saying I am a parent of a child with DS and the game is offensive and to please remove.  This morning they e-mailed back and said they removed it. 

1 point for our precious kids
0 points for the mean people

Well thanks to Tiffany's honey bear advice, Cooper has now mastered the straw!! Yay. We don't even have to squeeze the bear anymore, he just sucks the juice right up. Pretty neat. Thank you for the advice.
